mHealth Really Means Mobility, Information, Connectivity & Feedback

Date: September 17th 2009

Last week we had an amazing Technology Salon with strong opinions from a diverse collection of technology and development professionals who were all grappling with what the "m" in mHealth really meant to them.

And the impact from this discussion were immediate. Ideas from the Salon made it into the Mobile Innovations for Social and Economic Transformation at the World Bank yesterday. Now today its your turn to read about our discussion here:

Technology Salon Synopsis:
mHealth Means Mobility, Information, Connectivity & Feedback http://technologysalon.org/2009/09/mhealth-means-more-than-mobility.html

As you absorb our discussion outcomes, I have two favors to ask:

  1. Help me expand the conversation: Please recommend the Technology Salon to your development and technology colleagues, and ask them to sign up for meeting announcements here: http://technologysalon.org/join/
  2. Help me expand Salon topics: What compelling development challenge should we focus on next? Do you have an issue and speaker that could engage our group? Then email me now at wayan@wayan.com

Thanks for your attention,
Wayan
